Abstract

Introduction: The sustainability of health sciences education represents a fundamental challenge in the training of highly trained professionals prepared to respond to the demands of the health system. In a context characterized by the increasing complexity of teaching and the need for pedagogical innovation, teacher training and efficient management of educational resources emerge as key elements to guarantee the quality and continuity of training processes in universities.
Objective: To determine the relationship between teacher training and financial management of pedagogical resources in Peruvian universities providing health sciences education.
Methods: Quantitative, basic or pure, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational research.
Results: A correlation coefficient r=0.971 for the study variables, and a value of p=0.000.
Conclusions: The research confirms that teacher training is a key factor in the efficient management of pedagogical resources, contributing to the sustainability of health sciences education. Universities that prioritize teacher training will be better prepared to manage their resources efficiently, thus ensuring quality teaching aligned with the demands of the current academic and professional context.
